Sally Huapaya
Sally Huapaya is a native Peruvian of Andean descent, with a Bachelor in engineering and ancestral knowledge of traditional Peruvian medicinal plants and Andean cosmovision. She has a passion to bring the sacred plant knowledge of her people to the world and promoting respect and acknowledgement to the indigenous farmers and communities that produce them. She facilitates online training and also hosts retreats in her native land of Peru allowing you to deeply connect with the plant medicines.

Sally Huapaya (Peru) will share the untold ancient ancestral story of cacao and take you on a journey through the cosmovision, symbols, tools, preparation, and use of it from an indigenous perspective. The workshop involves story telling and sharing details of the different temples and tribes who used cacao and how they each viewed this sacred master plant. Then finishing in a demonstration of traditional preparation with ancestral tools and discussion on how we can bring cacao into our modern world with reverence to its ancient indigenous traditions. You will never look at cacao the same way again.
