CEREMONIAL CACAO, PSYCHEDELICS & NEUROSCIENCE
The ancient temple of Chavin de Huantar in Peru was the epicentre of shamanic initiation for the Americas from 1200-400 BC. Shamans of Chavin were using ceremonial cacao as a spiritual tool to connect to the divinity and combining with San Pedro to create psychedelic experiences. We explore the ancestral use of cacao, the neuroscience behind ceremonial cacao and its application to spiritual awakening, neuroplasticity and substantiate its use in the ancient traditions. Through biochemical mapping we have been able to create a cacao personality map and define cacao by its neuroplastic ability, so you can tailor you cacao to your desired experience. If you are using or working with cacao at all this workshop is a must to truly understanding its intention and application.
CANNABINOIDS EXPLAINED & NOVEL LEGAL ALTERNATIVES
In this workshop Dr Corin Storkey will explain the purpose of the endocannabinoid system ECS and how it works, the difference between human and plant cannabinoids and how to activate our ECS using natural plants like cannabis, Peruvian maca, ceremonial cacao and plant based terpenes. We will also be showcasing a new cannabinoid oil product called MCB oil, developed here in New Zealand that is a 100% natural alternative or compliment to cannabis oil. The ECS has been widely researched since the discovery of its self-healing abilities through plants like cannabis. It has been shown to help treat and manage many health conditions like chronic fatigue, pain, inflammation, autoimmunity, mental health, migraine and many more. However in New Zealand access to cannabis is restricted to prescription only and at a high price point.
